Dave Briggs – Cycling in Greece Episode 9 – Olympia to Gialova

Episode 9 from my bike tour of cycling in Greece. The route I took around the Peloponnese in Greece was loosely based on the legend of Hercules and the 12 Labours.

Leaving Ancient Olympia, the Hercules Bike tour continued as I cycled down the west coast of the Peloponnese of Greece and towards Pylos.

Along the way, I found a fairytale castle and the Eiffel Tower – As you do!

Trying one campsite that was closed, I eventually made it to Erodios campsite near Gialova, just a few kilometres away from Pylos.

It was a reasonably long cycling day with over 100 kms in the bag, but at least I got to stay at a campsite by the sea!
